NMH AI Bot

This is a brief introduction to the NMH-created large language bots. More information will be added to this document over time. As always, if there are any questions about using NMH information technology tools, please reach out to us.

aiBot (aibot.nmhschool.org) is Northfield Mount Hermon’s generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) large language model (LLM) chatbot. This tool is intended and designed to be used by NMH Faculty and Staff. None of the content or prompts provided to aiBot are shared or incorporated into the model, nor does information provided ever leave

aiBot contains three AI models with different purposes: HoggerBot, NMH-Optimized, and Solver. To select an AI model use the drop down after the name of the model.

Model chooser

HoggerBot is a small, playful model that is meant to be a humorous and informative introduction to AI Chatbots. This is a public model based on LLaMa, an open-source Large Language Model.

Solver is based on the Mistral large model and is tuned for mathematical and logical queries. The Solver model does not contain NMH related information.

NMH-Optimized is based on the Mistral medium model and includes the NMH Employee and Student Handbooks. You can ask "NMH Optimized" broad open questions or questions related to the school. This model can be used for image generation and can also assist with dictation or transcription. To generate an image, click on the "image" before submitting the prompt.

There are several options for chat transcripts including archiving, bookmarking ("pin"), and downloading to multiple formats including PDF.
