In order to sign in to the NMH-SECURE wireless network, you must have an NMH account. You will need your NMH password to sign in. If you forgot you password, please click here for instructions to reset it. If you do not have an NMH account, you will need to sign in to the NMH-GUEST network. This article pertains to the NMH Community.
NMH-Owned Devices
If you have an NMH-owned device, signing in to NMH-SECURE is simple:
- Navigate to your wireless settings.
- Select the NMH-SECURE network
- Enter your NMH credentials (the same username and password that you use to log in to Okta) — there is no need to enter @nmhschool.org for the username.

Personal Devices
With personal devices (phones, personal laptops, etc.), there might be a couple of extra steps. This article will cover logging on to the NMH-SECURE network with common devices, such as MacBooks, Windows laptops, Android phones/tablets, ChromeOS, and iPhones/iPads.
1. Find and select NMH-SECURE in your wireless networks list.
2. Enter your NMH credentials (the same username and password that you use to log in to Okta).

3. When prompted to authenticate to the network, click Continue.

4. Enter your MacBook's administrator password to verify the authentication.

1. Find and select NMH-SECURE in your wireless network list.

2. Enter your NMH credentials (the same username and password that you use to log in to Okta).

3. Click Connect when asked to continue connecting.

1. Find and select NMH-SECURE in your wireless networks list.
2. Enter your NMH credentials (the same username and password that you use to log in to Okta), then click Join.

3. Click Trust to trust the certificate from NMH.

⭐️You are now connected to the NMH-SECURE network⭐️
Note that the Settings options on Android can very depending on Android version, device type, etc. A list of some issues/other questions we've come across below:
- If asked to select TLS version: select TLS 1.2.
- If asked to require or request verification for the certificate: select Do not verify.
- If there is a field for Anonymous Identity: leave blank.
- Additionally, we've come across some versions of Android where the entry field and entry description are in reverse order. In the screenshots below, the field to enter information is below the identifier; on your specific Android version, the field could be above the identifier.
1. Find and select NMH-SECURE in your wireless networks list.
2. Enter your NMH credentials (the same username and password that you use to log in to Okta); Your "identity" should be your NMH username (e.g. jdoe); your password should be your Okta password.

3. Click Select certificate. In the menu that pops up, tap "Use system certificates".

4. Enter nmhschool.org in the Domain field, if prompted, then click Connect.

1. Find and select NMH-SECURE in your wireless network list.

2. In the next window, leave everything set to the default that it was filled with or blank except for:
- Domain suffix match should be nmhschool.org
- Identity should be your NMH username (without @nmhschool.org)
- Password should be your NMH account password (the same password that you use to log in to Okta)

3. Click Connect.
